Some families host 1 or 2 students, while others host 3, 4, or even 6!
In many of our families’ homes there is both linguistic and ethnic diversity among our student base. One family currently has 3 students from Indonesia, the US, and Kuwait. Three students from Saudi Arabia, the US and England are living in another house. Living in and experiencing a multicultural environment cultivates opportunities to share food, practice English, cultural immersion, create lasting friendships, and warm memories for years to come. American students who live with a host
family often play a crucial role in the life of an international student sharing the same home. Many international students enjoy living with an American in the same peer group. While everyone is busy studying and working, many make time to enjoy together.
